Image
The Pahalgam Terror Attacks in Jammu and Kashmir have shaken India to the core. This has forced India into a situation where things could go anywhere from here. This attack happened when the  USA Vice President JD Vance was in India with his family, visiting places across India. This attack came just days after Pakistan Army Chief Aseem Munir literally gave an open challenge to India, clearly distinguishing Pakistan and Muslims from India and Indians. It Happened on 22 April 2025 On 22 April 2025, 7 terrorists affiliated with The Resistance Front, an affiliate of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, opened fire on a group of tourists at the Baisaran Valley in Jammu and Kashmir, India. Finally common sense prevails as tank MRO starts at Vehicle Factory Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. I had been rooting for this moment since long have written an opinion piece in www.irdrw.org under ‘My Take’ section. Below is the reproduction of the article once again, do read the article that was published on April 20, 2020. It seems finally someone at Ministry of Defense Office in North Block, New Delhi read my opinion piece and implemented it. This will immensely help the Indian Army as now tanks won’t be required to be sent all the way down south to Avadi, Tamil Nadu, a seriously long distance that kills lot of time. Tanks serviced at VFJ will mean the T-72 Ajeya tanks will be serviced and will be sent back to their armoured formations in the northern, eastern and western parts of India within a short period of time. As such Vehicle Factory Jabalpur (VFJ), which is known for its long-standing legacy in manufacturing military vehicles, has now embarked on a new mission of overhaulin...

Tejas MK3 Twin Engine to Replace Su 30 MKI After 2045

As the world reels from USA revelation of  6th Generation aircraft F47  that was earlier called  NGAD , it has become impossible for India to overlook it. As of now the  Indian Air Force/IAF is happy flying 3rd Gen, 4th Gen, and 4.5++ Gen fighters like Mig-29/29K, Rafale/Rafale M, Su-30 MKI, Jaguar, and Mirage 2000.  Most of these will still keep flying till 2035 and 2040 when the world is already looking forward to the 6th Gen fighter like  NGAD/F47 (USA), Tempest (UK), and Mig-41 (Russia)  and these will be launched around the same time as 2035 to 2040. IAF as yet is still trying to get its hands on a 5th Gen fighter. Its homegrown effort the AMCA will reportedly be a 5.5 Gen fighter. In all likelihood, the first AMCA TD will come out only by 2035, a time when the world would have probably already seen the launch and induction of 6th Gen fighters like the NGAD (USA), and Tempest (UK). Mig-41 (Russia) is more likely to emerge by 2040. IAF is aware ...
